RICE COOKER MODE

The rice mode works just like a rice cooker, but cleverer still you can cook other grains - quinoa, millet, brown rice. It is designed for any cooking using the absorption method. All you need to know is the suggested ratio of water to grain, this you will have to find out for yourself as every variety will be different .

This is what we have been waiting for with Thermomix, it really is everything you could ask for, clever engineering and inspired ideas.

Whatever you read about it only working for long grain rice, think again , I cook my short grain Japanese rice with perfect results using a ratio of 1 cup of rice to 1 1/4 cups liquid.
