HOW IT WORKS

 

MOTOR

The heart of the Thermomix is the 500W reluctance motor that can drive the blades at up 10,700 rpm to chop, purée, grind or gently stir.

SCALES

Integrated into the body, so you can weigh ingredients directly into the bowl. Just reset to zero and add the next ingredient.

Accurate to 1 gram.

BOWL

Made of stainless steel so washes in seconds and is a generous 2.2 litres.  100% Dishwasher-proof. Or use the automatic pre-wash mode if you want it to wash itself.

BUTTERFLY WHISK

Sits on top of the blades, so no fiddly attachments.

​

STEAMER 

The 'Varoma' steamer basket fits on top of the bowl, allowing you to cook an entire meal at once in layers.  Saves both time and energy. s

Plus an internal simmering basket for steaming rice or potatoes.

SCREEN 

Bluetooth your recipe from the Cookidoo app straight to the screen where it will guide you through step-by-step cooking.

COOKIDOO

The 'Cookidoo' recipe platform is accessed wirelessly linking to  66,000+ recipes. Choose your language, choose your ingredients. Each recipe contains programmed, step-by-step instructions.

THE BLADES

Made of Solingen Steel the blades are set at 4 different levels, creating a perfect vortex. This is the key to the Thermomix's speed and power.

TEMPERATURE

Unlike any other food processor your Thermomix heats to a precise temperature:

Choose from: 37°C (baby food)

                       50°C melting chocolate

                       80°C custards & hollandaise

                       100°C most things cook at 100

                       160°C caramel.
